We use commercial tools (Mercury QTP, WinRunner), open source tools (Selenium, Watir), custom scripts (Perl, Java and others); as well as a host of others, just a few of which are: JMeter, Solex, Eclipse TPTP, LoadRunner, Microsoft Application Center Test, WAPT, OpenSTA, WAST, Junit, Nunit, DbUnit, HttpUnit, AspUnit.
